Upon arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulum Railway Station, you will be met and driven to Munnar (04 hours), passing by Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and natural picturesque sites. Check in at the hotel upon arrival and relax for the rest of the day and overnight stay.
Transfer from Kochi to Hotel
Begin the day with a local sightseeing tour of Munnar after breakfast. This city is 1600 metres above sea level and is located at the confluence of three mountain streams: Kundale, Nallathanni, and Mudrapuzha. This magnificent highland station was previously the British government's summer retreat in South India. After that visit to Tata Tea Museum (closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point, and in the afternoon, proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) to observe the rarest type of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars". Stay in a hotel in Munnar for the night.
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. Alleppey is a lovely village on Vembanadu Lake. The city is famous for its turquoise backwaters, swaying palms, and floating houseboats. A lovely four-hour journey through typical Kerala villages and paddy fields. Upon arrival check in at Kettuvallam, a well-known Kerala Houseboat. Explore the unique network of lakes, lagoons, canals, and rivers. Visit a paddy field in the Kuttanadan Region, the only region where rice is grown below sea level. Stay overnight on a houseboat in Alleppey.
On the final day of your journey, after a delicious breakfast, check out of the houseboat and drive back to the Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway station, satisfied with a beautiful memories and lovely holiday you spent in God's Own Country.
